Georgia Mae Rowe

April 22, 1932 — March 19, 2017

Georgia Mae Rowe, age 84, of Taylorsville passed away on the evening of Sunday, March 19, 2017 at her residence. She was born to the Late James D. Keller and Elizabeth Dishman in Catawba County. She was a homemaker that cherished her family and friends and she loved her dogs. Georgia attended Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by, her husband; Richard Rowe and her previous husband; Junior Duncan. Brothers Sam and Jim Keller; sisters Hazel Hedrick, and Edna Craig. She leaves behind to cherish her memory two brothers; Stephen Keller and wife Kathy of Claremont, and Monroe Keller of Hickory. A daughter, Chris Fortner and three grandchildren; Thomas Fortner, DJ Fortner, and Alvin Moretz. A great granddaughter, Brandy Roop and a number of nieces and nephews. Along with family Georgia has a few special friends; Arvella Sigmon and Helen Shook.
Visitation will be at Little River Baptist Church on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with the Rev. Jeff Chapman officiating.Burial will follow in Little River Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers all donations can be made to Little River Baptist Church.
