Cyndee Propst Brown

July 9, 1961 — October 14, 2020

Cynthia “Cyndee” Dolores Propst Brown entered Heaven at the age of 59 on October 14, 2020. Cyndee was born on July 9, 1961 to James Dale Sr. and Dolores Huffman Propst of Bethlehem, NC. Cyndee’s life was distinguished by her selfless and nurturing demeanor. Cyndee had a servant’s heart which carried into her professional life, in which she was an elderly caregiver for seven years.

Cyndee was an artist in every sense. Whether it be through: writing, singing, piano, or drawing she continually made the world a more beautiful place. It is within these gifts that Cyndee’s skill and infectious passion were admired by all who knew her. If you were lucky enough to have her clean for you, you would agree that you never knew the true meaning of “spotless” until you’d seen her work!

Out of the multitude of praiseworthy traits she embodied, the most pervasive of all was her unparalleled ability to love without condition, which was evidenced by her unwavering dedication to the Lord and to her family, especially her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her father James Dale Propst Sr. and maternal aunt Dorinda Huffman MacLean.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 37 years, Rex Alton Brown; her son, Christopher Lee Brown; her daughter and son-in-law, Angel Nicole and Marvin Lee Lindle II, and their four children: Gabriel, Liam, Desmond, and Tesla; her mother, Dolores Propst; her 3 siblings and their spouses, Tammy & Scott Shook, James “Jimmy” Jr. & Sandy Propst, and Kristy Propst; her aunts and uncles, Charlie & Annette Huffman, Ron & Tamera Propst, Denise & Rick McCormick, Sarah Punch, Doug MacLean and numerous nieces and nephews.

It was Cyndee’s wish to not have a traditional funeral service. The Brown and Propst families intend to hold memorial services where those who loved Cyndee can celebrate her life at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Cynthia Brown’s Grandchildren Educational Fund @ PO. Box 40, Taylorsville, NC 289681.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Alexander Funeral and Cremation Service.
