Earl Allen Travis

Earl Allen Travis age 71, passed away at his residence in Claremont, NC on May 6, 2019. He was born to the late Paul and Edna Mae Travis on February 10, 1948. Earl enjoyed hunting, fishing and doing small engine repair.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Wayne Travis, two sisters Judy and Shelia Travis.
Those left to cherish his memories include one daughter, Kelly Hefner (Chad) of Taylorsville, two sons, Scott Travis of Claremont, and Randy Travis (Jeanie) of Hiddenite. Three grandchildren Brandy Goble of Hickory, Kaylee Hall of Taylorsville, and Matthew Travis of Hiddenite. One step-grandchild Hayden Hefner of Taylorsville. Two great-grandchildren: Jocelyn and MacKenzie Goble of Hickory. Two sisters: Kim Travis and Nora Hayes of Claremont. Seven brothers: Paul, Donald “Toot”, Larry, Jim, Dennis, Ronnie “Runt “all of Claremont and Mike Travis of South Carolina along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Mr. Travis will be Wednesday May 8th, 2019 from 1:30 pm until 3:15 pm at Alexander Funeral Service followed by a graveside service at 3:30 pm.in the Hiddenite Cemetery.



Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Alexander Funeral and Cremation Service.
