Faye Annie Poole Brown, 99, of Kannapolis, passed away Wednesday January 19, 2022 after a period of declining health. Born March 4, 1922 in Wilkes County, she was the daughter of the late James David and Nora Lizzie Milsaps Poole. During her younger years, Faye enjoyed dancing, especially ballroom dancing. She spent much of her career in the medical field as an office manager. Faye is survived by two nieces Shirley McLain and Theresa Plaster; two nephews, James and Kenneth Martin; and many cousins, including a special cousin Michael Milsapps. A funeral service to honor Faye’s life will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 24, 2022 at Midway United Methodist Church, 708 S. Main St. Kannapolis. Rev. Craig Allen will officiate. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Monday, prior to the service.
