Glenna Mae Hendren

Glenna Mae Hendren, age 88, of Taylorsville went home to be with the Lord on March 30, 2022. Glenna was born May 3, 1933, the daughter of the late Roy Glenn and Bertha Mae Hendren.
Glenna was a homemaker that enjoyed watching TV. She was a good communicator.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Graydon and Ralph Hendren; sisters, Ruby Elder, Mabel Dagenhart, Dorothy Walker and Betty Childers-Wilcox.
Those left to cherish her memory are many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Accordius at Statesville and Hospice and Palliative Care of Iredell for the excellent love and care.
Glenna will lie in state Friday, April 1, 2022, from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm at Alexander Funeral Service. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 11:00 am in the Taylorsville City Cemetery. Rev. Neal Walker will officiate.
Pallbearers are Ray Earp, Kevin Elder, Bradley Hendren, Bryan Childers, Michael Moore and Woody Childers.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Gideons International, P.O. Box 1321, Statesville, NC 28677.
