Hazel Juanita Kiziah

Hazel Juanita Kiziah, age 83 of Taylorsville passed away at Carolina Caring in Newton on August 17, 2020.
A graveside service for Hazel will be conducted at St. Matthew’s Cemetery on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 9:30 am. (4648 Grace Chapel Road, Granite Falls, N.C. 28630)
Pastor Jeff Brown and Chaplain Sandi Hood will officiate.
Hazel was the daughter of Henry Ambrose and Erie Ellar Hastings Willis of Caldwell County. She was a member of Springs Road Baptist Church. Hazel enjoyed sewing, crafts, reading her Bible and of course she loved her family. Hazel was accused of having ten “Green Fingers” because she planted anything and everything and whatever she planted grew and flourished.
In addition to her parents Hazel was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-two years, Raymond Carrol Kiziah, an infant daughter and several siblings.
Those left to cherish the memories of Hazel include her daughter, Marsha Lynn Martinez, two sisters, Ola Deal and Shirley Hudson , brother George Willis, step-daughter, Sabrina Williams and husband Larry, three step-sons, Rex Kiziah and wife Barbara, Todd Kiziah and Bob Kiziah, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a multitude of god-children who adored her.
The family has request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Carolina Caring @ 3975 Robinson Rd, Newton, NC 28658.
