Jeffrey Lynn Simmons

Jeffrey Lynn Simmons, age 61 of the Bethlehem Community went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 20, 2020 at Valley Nursing Center. He was born August 4, 1958 in Catawba County to the late Dewey Lawrence Simmons and Lennabelle Cline Simmons. Jeffrey enjoyed Blue Grass music, he loved to cook and was known for his family style Barbecue.
In addition to his parents, Jeffrey is preceded in death by his sister, Patsy Sigmon.
Jeffrey was self-employed as a Master Auto Mechanic. He attended Crosspoint Church.
He will be missed by family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory are brothers, Joe Simmons, Lee Simmons and Michael Simmons all of Bethlehem, and Dean Simmons and wife Bernice of Florence, Alabama, sisters, Linda Seagle, Deborah Little, and Melissa Ritchie & husband Johnny all of Bethlehem, Nancy Goforth & husband Steve of Statesville, Hilda Seter & husband Paul of Conover.

A graveside service for Mr. Simmons will be conducted on Friday, July 24, 2020, 9:30 am at the Simmons Family Cemetery @ 130 Joshua Eliza Lane, Taylorsville, N.C. 28681. Rev. Scott Greene will be officiating.
