Laura Jane Parsons

Laura Jane Parsons, age 67, of Taylorsville, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022, in Caldwell County.
Laura was born on Saturday, March 6, 1954, in Alexander County, to the late Rev. Thomas Leon and Margaret Parsons Howell.
She was a member of St. John Baptist Church, where she attended regularly, when her health allowed.
She was a homemaker, where she enjoyed taking care of her grandkids, nieces, and nephews.
She enjoyed going to yard sales, with her husband and parents.
Mrs. Parsons also enjoyed movie time with the family, and a good home cooked meal.
In addition to her parents, Laura was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Jimmy Lee Parsons, daughter, Margaret Michelle Parsons, brother, Thomas Howell, sisters; Patricia Howell, Juanita Howell, nephews; Jeffrey Howell, Felipe Howell, Palon Howell, Kerry Howell, and Tanner Howell, and one niece Becky Littlejohn.
Father-in-law, Robert Franklin Sr. and mother-in-law, Ruth Elizabeth Howell.
Laura leaves to cherish in her memory, her son, Nick Parsons (Sara Andrade), brothers; James Howell, Gregory Howell, and Brian Howell, sisters; Diane Smith (Leavy), Mamie Littlejohn, and Mary Ann Howell. Grandchildren; Jordan Parsons, Jamarian Parsons, and Alysson Parsons, adopted brother; Terry McFarland (Loretta), special nieces Linda Vang and Melony Mason, along with a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, brother and sister in laws, cousins and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022, 2:00pm -3:30pm at Alexander Funeral Service.
Services will be held at 3:30pm on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at 3:30pm at Alexander Funeral Service Chapel.
Rev. T. E. Martin will be officiating.
Burial will follow in the St. John Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be; Mark Howell, Jarvis Howell, Spencer Howell,
Family Request that mask be worn.
