Ricky Dean Childers

Ricky Dean Childers, age 49, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018 following an automobile accident. Born April 9, 1969 in Taylorsville, NC he was the son of Waitsel Dean Childers and the late Judy Steel Childers. Ricky was of the Baptist faith. His hobbies included riding horses and hunting.

Surviving along with his father of Conway are his wife Pamela P. Childers of Aynor; two sons, Tristan R. Childers and Zachary D. Childers, both of Effingham, SC; one brother, Douglas Eugene Childers (Traci); two nephews, Shawn and Matthew Childers; a niece Brittney C. Hernandez; five uncles, Richard and Gene Childers and Steve, Daniel, and Chris Steel; and four aunts, Dean Miller, Debbie Steel, Sandy Kepley, and Gladys Minton.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel.

Visitation in Taylorsville, NC will be held from 5:00 pm -7:00 pm on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Alexander Funeral Service. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Taylorsville, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
