Vickie Kay Crumpler

October 10, 1955 — January 23, 2018

Vickie Kay Crumpler, age 62, of Taylorsville passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at her residence. She was born on October 10, 1955, the daughter of Frances Hildebran Elmore of Balls Creek and the late Houston “Blue” Victor Crumpler, II. Before retirement she worked at Craftmaster Furniture as a sewer for a number of years. Vickie was a member at Rocky Face Baptist Church and loved to spend time with her family. She was a wonderful daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will truly be missed but will forever be in our hearts.

Along with her mother, those left to cherish her memory include her sons Michael Sean Moses & wife Tracy of Hiddenite and David Wayne Moses & wife Vanessa of Charlotte; grandchildren Nathanial Alexander Moses of Charlotte and Austin Sean, Cheyenne, & Kennedy Moses of Hiddenite; step grandchildren Kaitlynn & Amberly Townsend of Hiddenite; brother Houston Victor Crumpler, III of Missouri; and sisters Frankie Drum of Love Valley & Cyndi Crumpler of Holden Beach.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Rocky Face Baptist Church and a memorial service to celebrate her life will follow at 4:00 pm. Inurnment will be with the family.
