Barbara Jean Jackson, age 78, was born on Saturday, October 27, 1945, in Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at the Valley Nursing Center in Alexander County. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend.
 
Barbara was known for her love of family and cherished spending time with her loved ones. Her warm smile and caring nature touched the hearts of all who knew her. Barbara had a passion for watching western movies, cooking, camping, traveling, and being outdoors. 
 
She is preceded in death by her parents Richard T. Jackson and Josephine Atkins Rosati. Barbara is also reunited with her sisters Betsy Ann and Pattie Sue. Though she will be deeply missed, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
 
Barbara is survived by her daughter Kaye House (Michael), grandchildren Maura Gushorn (Shane), Crystal Crowley (Brandon Graves), Kenneth Cox, Samantha Jaks, great-grandchildren Joseph, Christian, Ian, Liam, Andrew, Bella, LJ, Garrett, Wyatt, Bailey, and Chandler. She is also survived by her brothers Bobby, Johnny, Tunie; sisters Carolyn, Linda,
Lynda Gayle, Debbie, Toni, Kay, and Sylvia; as well as several nieces and nephews.
 
In every moment spent with Barbara Jean Jackson lies a memory filled with love and joy. Her legacy of love and kindness will forever be cherished by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
 
No services are planned at this time. Inurnment will be with the family.
