Bonnie Louise Chapman,

Bonnie Louise Chapman, age 67, of Taylorsville, passed away at her home on January 2, 2012 following a period of declining health.  Born in Alexander County on August 16, 1944 to the late Norris and Clara (Robinette) Bumgarner, she had been employed as a Teacher’s Assistant in the Alexander School System for 20 years.  Mrs. Chapman is survived by her husband of 48 years, Fred Chapman; two daughters Renee Saner and husband Marvin;, Anita Hudson and husband Mark;, two grandsons Michael Wagner and fiancé Lisa Milstead; and Sgt. Christopher Wagner of the US Army and wife Jessie; one granddaughter Lindsay Hudson and one great-grandson Gabriel Wagner. A Memorial Service will be held at Alexander Funeral Service & Cremation on Thursday, January 5, at 6:00 pm. with a visitation to follow after the service.  Rev. Ricky Safriet will officiate.
