Charles Robert Leo Scarbrough

Charles Robert Leo Scarbrough was called home by the Lord on January 28, 2026, after suffering from pneumonia from the RSV virus. He was born on November 27, 1945, to the late Dovie Reid Scarbrough and Albert Leo Scarbrough.

Including his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, John Robert Scarbrough, and brother, Gerald Dean Scarbrough.

Charles is survived by his wife, Sandra Moretz Scarbrough, daughter Mandie Kay Atwood and husband Mark Atwood, grandchildren, Ryan Scott McGaha and Sheradyn Nicole Hunt, special nephews, Jody Smith and Randy Scott Scarbrough, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Charles loved deer hunting, going fishing, and NASCAR racing. He worked in furniture most of his life.

No services are planned at this time.

Donations may be made to Taylorsville Savings and Loan Bank - Bethlehem branch in Charles’ name to help the family financially.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Alexander Funeral and Cremation Service.
