Connie Rose Dagenhart Kerley

Connie Rose Dagenhart Kerley, age 72, passed away September 7, 2026, at Carolina Caring in Catawba County. She was born on September 11, 1953, in Spokane, Washington to the late Harold and Shirley Huffman Dagenhart. During her working career, Connie worked as a phlebotomist for Labcorp for over 40 years. She was a lifetime member at Friendship Lutheran Church. Connie was very involved in church. She was an avid walker, walking three to four miles a day. She also enjoyed reading, decorating, gardening, and flowers. Connie loved her family and cherished spending time with them, especially her grandchildren, and her dogs, Maggie and Lillie.

Those left to cherish the memories of Connie include her husband of 53 years, Guy Kerley, daughter, Julie Kerley Norcross (Jason), sons, Casey Kerley (Melissa), Colby Kerley (Summer), grandchildren, Maya Norcross, Maddox Norcross, Karsyn Kerley, Rilyn Kerley, Dagen Kerley, and a number of cousins, nieces, nephews, and special friends.

A visitation will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Friendship Lutheran Church Family Life Center from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. A Celebration of Life will be on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Friendship Lutheran Church Sanctuary at 4:00 pm. Pastor Josh Tucker will officiate. Maddox Norcross will serve as pallbearer. A private inurnment will be held at a later time in Friendship Lutheran Church’s columbarium.
