Eddie Wayne Lothery

Eddie Wayne Lothery of Vale, NC, was born January 14, 1968, in Detroit, Michigan and raised in Dickenson County, Virginia. He entered into the loving arms of Jesus on March 20, 2024, after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Treasa Ann Lothery, father, Simion Lothery Sr.

Eddie was employed at Pratt Industries and attended North Iredell Baptist Church in Union Grove, NC.

Eddie is survived by his beloved wife Brenda Gilbert Lothery of Vale, NC; two sons, Michael Thomas of Wise, VA, and Eddie Lothery Jr. of Vale, NC; his loving mother, Rita Lothery of McClure, VA; two brothers, David Lothery and Simion Lothery Jr. of McClure, VA; one sister, Angie Lothery (Tam Hill) of McClure, VA; five nephews, Wes Sluss of McClure, VA, Cory Vinson (Aimee) of Church Hill, TN, Alex Hale (Brianna) of Buchannon, WV, Shawn Hale and Colten Hale of Weston, WV; one niece, Kayla Sluss (J.T.) of Clintwood, VA; and a host of uncles, aunts, and cousins; special friends, Billy and Malia Chatham of Vale, NC, Wilbur and Ivy Tyndall of Taylorsville, NC.

Eddie was loved by his family, friends, co-workers, and church family. Anyone that knew Eddie knew of his love for his family, especially the love of his life, his wife, Brenda and his pride and joy, his son, Eddie Jr. Eddie, you are so loved, you will be forever loved. You will be missed more than you will ever know. A light in our lives may be gone but much comfort knowing you are in the arms of Jesus.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 23, 2024, at North Iredell Baptist Church in Union Grove, NC, at 1:00 pm. Bro. Billy Chatham will officiate.

A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Dyers Chapel Church in Stratton, VA, at 12:00 pm. Bro Tam Hill and Bro. Mike Stidham will officiate.
