Gregory Darrell Kiser, Sr.

Gregory Darrell Kiser, Sr., age 68, passed away on October 16, 2026, at his home in Alexander County. He was born on September 28, 1958, in Richlands, Virginia, to Ralph and Lear Stevens Kiser.

Gregory worked as a puller at Mitchell Gold. Outside of work, he was a gun enthusiast who enjoyed hunting and had a love for Harley Davidson motorcycles and NASCAR. Above all, he loved his family and cherished the time he spent with them.

He is survived by his children, Melinda Jacobs (Tony), Greg Kiser, and Summer Kiser (Lucas St. Clair). He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Johnathan Pinson, Miranda Pinson, Wade St. Clair, and Jasper St. Clair, who were an important part of his life. Gregory is also survived by his brothers, Gary Kiser and Larry Kiser (Susan), his sister, Sherry Kiser Pacetti (Carl), and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Kiser; his mother, Lear Stevens Kiser; and his brothers, Jerald Kiser and Ricky Kiser.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at 10:00 am in the Kiser Family Cemetery in Cleveland, Virginia. Pastor Danny Rhea will officiate.

The family will accept flowers.

Gregory will be remembered with love by his family and all who knew him. His memory will live on in the lives of those he cared for and in the many moments shared with them.
