Jeffrey Dale Cole

Jeffrey Dale Cole, age 49, beloved father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on Friday, June 6, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Born on Friday, January 16, 1976, in Beckley, West Virginia, Jeffrey's vibrant spirit and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.

Jeffrey cherished his time with his family, particularly his son, Nathan Cole. He was a devoted father whose love knew no bounds. Jeffrey also leaves behind his father, Danny Cole and stepmother Linda, and sister, Angel Park, alongside her husband, Greg. His memory will continue to live on through his beloved nieces — Paige Cook, Gracie Park, Terra Pettry — as well as his nephew, John Daniel Pettry, and great-niece, Rylee Cook. Additionally, a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends will hold dear the memories they shared with him.

Jeffrey is preceded in death by his mother Linda McCoy Cole, and sister Rena Miller.

A man of many passions, Jeffrey enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, golfing, and the thrill of playing poker and craps. His culinary skills shone brightest when he was smoking meat, a personal favorite, as he found joy in cooking for those he loved. Also, he had an affinity for trading in the stock market, often sharing his insights and experiences with his loved ones.

Jeffrey attended Taylorsville Church of God. His enthusiasm for life and warm presence made a lasting impact on everyone around him, and he will always be remembered for his kindness and generosity.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Alexander Funeral Service from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13, 2025, at Hiddenite Cemetery at 2:30 pm. Pastor Mark Albertino will officiate.

Jeffrey’s legacy will endure in the hearts of his family and friends who are left to carry on his memory. His journey was defined by love, laughter, and cherished moments, and he will be profoundly missed.
