John Lester Duncan

John Lester Duncan, age 75, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at Iredell Memorial Hospital in Iredell County. He was born to the late Agustus and Helen Myers Duncan on Saturday, April 9, 1949, in Brooklyn, New York. He enjoyed watching football, fishing, and taking care of his animals. John loved his family and cooking for them, especially lasagna.

Those left to cherish the memories of John include his wife of 28 years, Linda Duncan, three children, Johnny Duncan, Jessica Sharpe (Craig), Jeremy Duncan, sister, Linda Connoly, five grandchildren, Joshua Gregory, Jared Gregory (Sydney), Justin Gregory (Emma), Lydia and Emily Sharpe, three great-grandchildren, Camille, John Wyatt, and Rhenn Gregory, along with a number of nieces and nephews.

There are no services planned at this time.
