Justin Lee Britton

Justin Lee Britton, age 38, passed away on October 22, 2026, at Gordon Hospice House in Iredell County. He was born on April 13, 1988, in Forsyth County. His passing brings deep sorrow to those who knew and loved him, and he will be remembered with great affection.

Justin worked at Hi-Tec Plating. Outside of work, he found joy in the outdoors and in sharing the things he loved with others. He enjoyed hunting and saltwater fishing, and he took special pleasure in teaching people to shoot a gun and fish. He was also an Atlanta Braves fan. Above all, Justin loved and cherished his family and treasured the time he spent with them.

He is survived by his son, Ryan Britton; his fiancé, Vicki Shockley; his parents, Gene and Charlotte Britton; his brothers, Jeffery Britton and Christopher Evans; his grandmothers, Flora Britton and Priscilla Evans; his beloved fur baby, Eevee; and he shared a special bond with Murdock and Rhonda. He will be remembered warmly by his family and friends, who will hold close to the many moments they shared with him.

Justin was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Gene Britton, Sr. and Richard Evans; and his aunt, Lynn Evans.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Alexander Funeral Service, 193 NC-16, Taylorsville, NC 28681. The funeral service will be on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in Alexander Funeral Service Chapel. Burial will be private. Rhett Miller will officiate. PJ Rose, Michael Martinez, Martin Moose, Ben Murdock, Mike McDonald, and Demetrius McCurdy will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Johnston and Wayne Johnston.

The family will accept flowers.

Justin will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing him.
