Kathleen Theresa Gravel Teague, age 61, born on April 18, 1965, in Providence County, Rhode Island, passed away peacefully at her home in Alexander County on May 29, 2026. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and touched the lives of many.
Kathleen was a dedicated homemaker who took immense pride in caring for her family. Her love of motherhood was evident in everything she did, and she found great joy in supporting and nurturing those around her, especially those in need. Beyond her role in the home, Kathleen also pursued numerous hobbies and interests that enriched her life. She enjoyed crafts and photography, activities through which she expressed her creativity and captured the beauty of everyday moments. Her skill at playing billiards brought both challenge and fun, while her love for animals reflected her compassionate spirit. Kathleen also treasured traveling to the beach and the mountains, finding peace and inspiration amid nature’s serene landscapes.
Throughout her life, Kathleen was surrounded by a loving family who remember her as a pillar of strength and kindness. She is survived by her husband, Mark Teague, who stood beside her with unwavering devotion. Kathleen’s children—Heather Beausoleil, Conrad Beausoleil, Amanda Beausoleil, Stephanie Tetreault, Jenny Gravel, Kaysie Hall (Devin), Nevaeh Hope Clark, Angel Faith Beausoleil, Daniel Jones, and Jason Young—carry forward her legacy of love and dedication. She was also a proud grandmother to Mylah Belle Hall, Braelynn Rae Hall, and twelve other grandchildren, who will forever cherish the special bond they shared with her.
Her family circle extended to include four siblings, her mother-in-law Wanda Little, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members, all of whom hold Kathleen in their hearts.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Joseph Gravel and Carol Ann Crossley Gravel, as well as her infant son Brandon.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Kathleen’s life will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 12:00 pm in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel located at 193 NC-16, Taylorsville, NC 28681. Rhett Miller will officiate.
The family will accept flowers, or donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, Donation Processing Center, P0 Box 5041, Boone, IA 50950-0041.
Kathleen’s enduring compassion, vibrant spirit, and steadfast commitment to her family and community leave an indelible mark. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
