Kerria Raechelle Taylyn Willis

Kerria Raechelle Taylyn Willis, precious infant daughter of Karrel Monte Willis and Kesha Lashay Combs, was born on September 12, 2026, in Catawba County. She passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on September 25, 2026, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Though Kerria’s time on earth was brief, her beautiful little life was a precious gift from God. She was deeply loved from the moment she entered this world, and the love she brought into the hearts of her family will remain forever. Her life may be measured in days, but the love and memories she leaves behind are immeasurable.

In addition to her parents, Kerria is survived by her siblings, Keyon Flowers (Jalayiah Summers), Kaleah Flowers, Kaylece Flowers, Azalea Vaughn, and Kaivani Willis; maternal grandparents, Tina Looper and Carl Combs; paternal great-grandfather, Tommy Looper, maternal great-grandmother, Marie Combs; special aunts, Alysha, Candice, Lisa “Memah”, Ashley; special great-uncles, Billy Looper and Tom Christ, special great-aunt, Carol Huskey, and a number of loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kerria was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandmother, Kathleen Brown Looper; paternal grandmother, Cheryl Lynn Willis; and paternal grandfather, Lester Rice.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Alexander Funeral Service from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in Taylorsville City Cemetery. Pastor Travis Mull will officiate. Keyon Flowers and Brant Sweezy will serve as pallbearers.

While her family’s hearts ache because they could not keep her here, they find comfort in knowing that sweet Kerria is safe in the loving arms of Jesus.
