LaTiesha "Tish" LaShea Parsons

LaTiesha “Tish” LaShea Parsons, age 31, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, February 22, 2024, in Alexander County. She was born to Anthony Lee Parsons and Antoinette Loraine Howell on Monday, July 13, 1992, in Iredell County. Ms. Parsons was of the Baptist faith. Tish was a singer and song writer entrepreneur and enjoyed sports and comedy. Tish never met a stranger and loved her family and friends dearly.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Edna and Ned Parsons, brother, Antwaun Howell, and aunt, Melinda Jackson.

Those left to cherish the memories of Tish include her father, Anthony Parsons, mother, Antoinette Howell, maternal grandparents, Lorraine Saldana and Morton Smith; two brothers, Jashawn Howell, Daniel Williams; nine sisters, Brittnie Reid Howell, DeAndria Thomas Howell, TyErikah Smith, T’shana McLain, Victoria “Bell” McLain, Jada Parsons, Kayleigh Cowls, Ashley Parsons, Yakima Dace Greene; fiancé, Kimberly Payne, and a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ms. Parsons will lie in state Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Alexander Funeral Service from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. A visitation will be held Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Alexander Funeral Service from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The funeral service will be held Sunday, March 3, 2024, in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow in the St. John Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Martin, Pastor Laura Jones will officiate and special prayer by Cruze Dula.
