Margaret Yvonne Fritts Moore, 65, of Taylorsville, passed away at her home on February 10, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Margaret was born on September 15, 1960, to the late Ivan Edward Fritts and Marie Alberty Fritts. She spent many years working as a registered nurse, where she cared for the elderly. After an injury led to her retirement from nursing, she dedicated her time to her home and family.
For 14 years, Margaret was a member of Sound Doctrine Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her friends and family, and her greatest joy was being with her granddaughters. Margaret was known for her kindness, generosity, and the deep care she showed to everyone around her. She will always be remembered for the love she shared so freely.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Kirk Fritts.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Charles Moore; her children, Pataience Fritts, Marrie Depew, and Taylor Moore; her granddaughters, Lorelei Dillard and Iridessa Wyatt; her brothers, Ivan Earl Fritts and Jacob Edward Fritts; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.
A celebration of Margaret’s life will be held at Sound Doctrine Baptist Church, with Brother Jeff Webb officiating.
