Mary Louise Hall Johnson

Mary was born on April 9, 1945, in Lakeland Florida, to the late Lannie Alfonzo Hall and Bertha Davis. She was raised by Juston O and Bertha Davis. Mary went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 15, 2026.

Mary was a dedicated member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. She sang in the church choir and was a genuine woman of faith who truly loved her Savior Jesus Christ, her family and her church family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her much joy and happiness. She also enjoyed crocheting and going to the Senior Center.

Proceeded in death, in addition to her parents, was her Husband DeWhitt Johnson who she married on September 13, 1963, her sister Betty McCrackin, brothers Rayburn Davis and James R Wilson, and grandson Juston John Harris.

Survivors include her daughter Janet (Jason) Harris, and son James (Roxanne) Johnson. Grandchildren Alston (Emily) Harris, Sara (Dusty) St Clair, Mara (Zak) Hollar, Noah (Faith) Hoyle. Her beloved great-grandchildren Aiden, Ryder, Jameson, Mayvis, Wesson, Norris and Sadie. She is also survived by her sister Lennis Hall and many nieces and nephews she treasured as her own.

The family will receive friends at Alexander Funeral Service Monday, May 18, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The funeral will be held at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 12:00 pm with Rev. Bradley Anderson and Rev. Cody Bullman officiating. After the service, the body will be taken to Bethel Baptist Church for a graveside service with Rev. Stephen Dagenhart officiating. Pallbearers will be her family- James Johnson, Alston Harris, Noah Hoyle, Dusty St Clair, Zak Hollar, and Aiden Kilpatrick.
