Melody Kay Hanson Kennedy

Melody Hanson Kennedy, age 72, of Maiden, NC died Sunday, November 17, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones.
Known by family as Mama K, she had a big and giving heart. She loved to sew, crochet, and spend time with her family. She never met a stranger she wouldn’t talk to.
Melody is survived by her husband of 52 years Bill Kennedy; daughters Angela Boatwright and husband John of Sanford, FL; Jennifer Jarvis and husband Ron of Huntersville, NC; brother Randy Hanson and wife Jennifer of Jefferson, NC; grandchildren, Kaleigh Tapp, Bailee Chism, Kyndall Vinci, Chloe Chism, Jonathan Boatwright, and Faith Jarvis; and great-granddaughters, Sterling and Korra Tapp.
The family will have a Celebration of Life service on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Sylvan Lake Cemetery, 5400 Wayside Drive, Sanford, Fl 32771, at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to PSC Partners Seeking a Cure, 6900 East Belleview Ave Suite 202, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 – www.PSCPartners.org
