Pamela “Pam” Parsons Lineberger, age 70, of Taylorsville, went to her heavenly home on September 9, 2026. Born to the late Robert F. Parsons, Sr. and Ruth Howell Parsons in Taylorsville on November 22, 1955. She attended Happy Plains School until 1972.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by six brothers and five sisters.
Those left to cherish and honor her memory are her husband of 49 years, Jackie Wayne Lineberger, Sr. of the home. Her five children, Angela, Melvin (Tonya), Yvonne, Jackie Jr., and Shaunia all of Taylorsville, 18 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Bruce (Mag), Jack, Doug (Lisa), Gary (Shelly), sisters, Rachel Millsaps, Carolyn, Celia Teague (Sanford), sister-in-law, Shirley Flowers (Howard), two special sisters, Lossie King, Evelyn Parsons, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
MawMaw as her grandchildren lovingly called her, loved cooking and baking. She was a homemaker. She loved all her grandchildren, gospel music, reading her Bible, and writing her recipes.
A visitation will be held Monday, September 14, 2026, at Alexander Funeral Service from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The funeral service will be Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at St. John Baptist Church at 2:00 pm. Ms. Lineberger will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Rev. T.E. Martin, Rev. James Ferguson, and Rev. Elliot Boston will officiate. Jarvis Saner will give the eulogy. Nick Parsons, Anthony Parsons, Jerry Parsons, Ivan Parsons, Brandon Carlton, Rasheek Millsaps, and Ethan Parsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be William Parsons, Daniel Parsons, and Chris Millsaps.
The family will accept flowers, or memorials may be made to St. John Baptist Church, 224 Quail Hollow Road, Taylorsville, NC 28681.
