Robert Lee Jolly

Robert Lee Jolly, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home in Alexander County on Monday, October 20, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on Tuesday, December 7, 1948, in Catawba County, Robert’s life was characterized by an unwavering commitment to his family and a deep connection to his community.

Robert was a member of Oxford Baptist Church, where he found fellowship and support throughout his life. His faith was an integral part of his identity, guiding him as he raised his family in a loving environment. He cherished every moment spent with his loved ones, creating memories that will be treasured for years to come.

In addition to his familial devotion, Robert had a passion for the outdoors, particularly crappie, bass, and surf fishing. He often looked forward to trips to the Outer Banks, where he relished the opportunity to be on the water, enjoying nature's beauty.

Robert is remembered lovingly by his wife of 56 years, Patricia Hedrick Jolly, and his son Bryan Jolly, who is married to Katherine. He is also survived by his cherished granddaughter, Shelby Jolly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Kathleen Cline Jolly.

A memorial service to honor Robert's life will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Alexander Funeral Service in Taylorsville, NC. The service will begin at 6:00 pm. Rev. Joel Frye will officiate. Military Rites will be provided. Inurnment will be with the family.
