Roby Andrew Laws

Roby Andrew Laws, a dedicated individual in the Furniture industry, breathed his last on August 1, 2024, in Iredell County, North Carolina. He was born on June 30, 1943, in Alexander, NC to the late Ralph and Pearl Laws.

 In his leisure time, Roby enjoyed playing cards, tending to his yard, and exploring flea markets. His passion for these simple pleasures brought joy to those around him.

 He is now reunited with his beloved wife of 60 years, Marcella Jolly Laws. Roby is additionally preceded in death by brothers Harlan and David Laws; sisters Alice Moretz and Ruth Moose. 

 Roby is survived by his sons Canavan (Michelle) and John (Sandra Miller) Laws; grandchildren Dawn, Colton, and Emma Laws; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cherished friends who will carry his memory forward.

 Roby's life will be honored and celebrated at the Millersville Baptist Church in Township of Taylorsville, North Carolina. A visitation will take place from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM followed by a Memorial Service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM on August 5, 2024, at 130 Millersville Church Road. Inurnment will be with the family. Rev. Bill Orren will officiate.

 In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Millersville Baptist Church, 130 Millersville Church Rd, Taylorsville, NC, 28681.

 Roby Andrew Laws will be remembered for his kindness, dedication to his craft, and the love he shared with all those around him. May he rest in peace.
