Roger Eugene Braswell

Roger Eugene Braswell, age 73, born on April 17, 1952, in Caldwell County, departed from this life on December 17, 2025, at his residence. He was a man of numerous passions, having dedicated many years of his career to the furniture industry before retiring. Roger was not only recognized for his work but also cherished for his love of the great outdoors, spending countless hours hunting and fishing. He found joy in gardening and was known for being a man of many hobbies, embracing a simple yet fulfilling life.

Roger leaves behind a beloved family, including his devoted spouse, Beth Braswell, with whom he shared 40 years of marriage. He is survived by his children: son Matthew Braswell, daughter Jessica Braswell, and son Joseph Braswell, who is married to Mikayla. His siblings: brother William "Bucky" Braswell, and sisters Doris Duncan (Charles), Wanda Wike, Deborah Burns (Terry), Renee Sigmon, and Sandra Denny (Scott). Also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren: Logan Braswell, Zackery Braswell, Luke Braswell, Sydney Braswell, Tatem Braswell, Delaney Braswell, along with a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Owen and Mary Braswell, and his sister, Ria Childers.

Visitation will be held on December 19, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:20 PM at Alexander Funeral Service. The memorial service will follow at 3:30 PM at the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel. Rev. Shannon Childers will officiate. Inurnment will be with the family. Roger's family invites all who knew him to join in honoring his life and contributions to those around him.
