Rosa Louise Lafon Johnson

Rosa Louise Lafon Johnson, age 69, left this world and entered into her heavenly home on August 30, 2026. She was born on June 4, 1957, to Franklin “Arnold” and Lillian Daniels Lafon and preceded in death by them.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Johnson in 2018 and a brother-in-law Harvey Connolly.

Left to cherish her memory include, her son Chris Johnson (Kendra), grandsons Chase, Chandler, Corbin, and granddaughter Kymber. Brothers Rickey (Melissa), Danny (Cindy), Robert (Robin) Lafon and sister Brenda Connolly, as well as many nieces and nephews and her fur babies Tiny and Pebbles.

She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, talking to family and friends daily by phone, attending church at Jesus Life Worship Center where she was a faithful member, and attending “Scoops Jam” night. She also enjoyed baking and loved her dogs.

The receiving of friends will be Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Alexander Funeral Service located at 193 NC Hwy 16 N, Taylorsville, NC 28681, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will be Saturday, September 5, 2026, in the Alexander Funeral Service Chapel at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery located at 3200 Grissel Tail Road, Traphill, NC. Rev. J.L. Chappell will officiate.
