Sandra Darlene Yoder Harrell

Sandra Darlene Yoder Harrell, lovingly known as Sandi, passed away on October 7, 2026, at Carolina Caring Catawba Valley Hospice House in Catawba County. She was born on August 11, 1962, in Catawba County.

Sandi will be remembered for the care she showed to others and for the many simple joys that filled her life. She worked as a waitress at PJ's Bethlehem Seafood & Steak, where her hardworking spirit and warm presence were part of her daily life. Outside of work, she enjoyed sewing, canning, riding motorcycles, setting up at craft shows and markets, and collecting carousel horses. Above all, she loved her family and friends dearly. Sandi cherished spending time with them, and she also dearly loved her Yorkie dogs. She was funny and sweet, yet spicy, but a caring person.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Harrell. Her family was a great source of love and pride in her life, and she leaves behind her children, Shena Springs and her husband Marcus, Wendi Cooke and her husband Danny, and Dustin Cline and his wife Tiffany. She is also survived by her father, Richard Yoder; her aunt, Dianna Bolick her brothers, Jim and Chris; and her grandchildren, Xavier, Evette, Evelyn, Bethany, Rachel, Sandra, and Mercedes; and five great-grandchildren each of whom held a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Tramel Smith, and her brother, Jamie.

There will be a private family celebration of life.

Sandi’s life was marked by devotion to those she loved, enjoyment of the things that brought people together, and an appreciation for the everyday moments that become treasured memories. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
