Shirley Coffee Willard, 84, of Taylorsville went to her heavenly home on December 31, 2025, at Gordon Hospice House. Shirley was born on May 5, 1941, in Caldwell County to the late William Glenn Coffee and Annie Rivers Coffee.
Shirley was full of life and she was a remarkable woman. She loved God and her family. Her whole world was her great-granddaughter, Marisa Rosales. Shirley enjoyed coloring, doing word search puzzles, and traveling to the mountains.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gray Willard, daughter, Gail Strohbusch, grandson, Justin Bath, granddaughter, Heather Lapish, brothers, Jerry Coffee and Clyde Coffee, sisters, Loretta Phillips, Lorraine Tedder, Linda Sipe, and Joyce McLain; two great-grandchildren, Jaxon Lapish and Weston Crane.
Those left to cherish her memories include her sons, Michael Bath (Susan) of Louisiana, James Bath and Jeffey Bath (Patricia) both of Maryland, Scott Bath (Angela) of Taylorsville; daughter, Michelle Munday (Dwayne) of Taylorsville, nine grandchildren, Teresa Rosales, Charlie Munday, Tracie Bath, Aaron Bath, Travis Bath, Natasha Whalley, Shawn Strohbusch, Leah Hinz, Angela Roze, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson.
Services will be private.
The family will accept flowers, or donations may be made to Gordon Hospice House, 2341 Simonton Rd, Statesville, NC 28625.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Alexander Funeral and Cremation Service.
