Timothy Wade Miller

Timothy “Bucky” Wade Miller, age 62, a devoted family man, passed away on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Carolina Caring in Catawba County. Born on Sunday, November 4, 1962, in Alexander County, he dedicated his life to both his work and his loved ones.

Bucky was a water facility operator at Aqua America, where his work ethic and dedication earned him the respect of his peers and supervisors alike.

Bucky was an avid outdoorsman, taking great joy in hunting and fishing. He especially loved spending time in the woods with his family, creating lasting memories with his grandsons. His adventurous spirit and passion for nature exemplified his zest for life and will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Bucky attended Calvary Baptist Church where he found strength and solace in his faith. His commitment to his church community was a testament to his values and belief in the importance of fellowship.

Bucky is survived by his daughter, Jessica Ledford (Brian); his grandsons, Blake (Breanna), Eli, Kaden, and Korbin Ledford; his great-granddaughter, Harper Ledford; his sister, Susan Miller; and a number of nieces, nephews, and special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ned "Mink" and Leona Schroder Miller; his brother, Devon Miller; and his sister, Ruth Ann Sweeney.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, August 31, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 2:45 pm, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 pm, at Calvary Baptist Church, located at 185 5th Avenue North, Taylorsville, NC 28681. Rev. Steve Dagenhart and Rev. Taylor Miller will officiate. Inurnment will be with the family. All are welcome to join in honoring Bucky's memory and celebrating the life he lived.

Bucky will be remembered for his warmth, love of the outdoors, and the deep connections he fostered with family and friends. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
