Wanda Kilby Russell

Wanda Elizabeth Kilby Russell, age 84, passed away Sunday, June 18, 2023, at Gordon Hospice House in Iredell County. She was born to the late Rowan Kilby and Lura Wyatt Kilby on Sunday, April 30, 1939, in Wilkes County. Mrs. Russell was of the Baptist faith and attended Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.
Including her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Henry Russell, and twelve brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish the memories of Wanda include her children, Keith Russell (Nancy), Carolyn Mastin (Jerry), Randy Russell (Linda), Debra Pegram Russell, and Abbie Russell, eight grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Scenic Memorial Gardens at a later date.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Alexander Funeral and Cremation Service.
