William Charles Munday, Sr., age 68, born on March 27, 1958, passed away on July 15, 2026, leaving a legacy of love, laughter, and hard work that will be cherished by all who knew him.
A lifelong resident deeply rooted in his community, William was the proud owner of Charles Munday Small Engine Repair, where he spent countless hours tinkering with lawn mowers and helping neighbors keep their equipment running. His skills extended well beyond engines, he was also a dedicated poultry farmer, a testament to his tireless work ethic and deep appreciation for the land.
William’s life was filled with passions that shaped the man he was. He found joy in farming and was an enthusiastic beekeeper, always fascinated by the quiet industry of his hives. An avid deer hunter, he relished the peaceful solitude of early mornings in the woods on his property. Those who knew him best often recall seeing him walking among the trees, taking in the calm beauty of nature. At home, he delighted in watching westerns, a fitting pastime for someone with an independent and pioneering spirit.
He was a man defined by both strength and humor. Friends and family remember William as funny and stubborn, strong-headed yet private, a man who loved to pick and make jokes, bringing a smile to those around him even in the smallest moments. Above all, he loved his family and his loyal dogs, whose presence always brought him warmth and companionship.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Teresa Munday Rosales, and his son, Charlie Munday (Santana). His legacy continues in his grandchildren, Jordan Rosales (Madysan), Adrien Rosales, and Marisa Rosales, and great-grandchildren, Julian Rosales and Esme Rosales. He is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Rebecca Lackey (Norman), his niece, Lisa Munday, and his nephew, Shawn Lackey (Crystal).
He is preceded in death by his father, William Frank Munday, mother, Audrey Jane Clanton Munday, daughter, Heather Munday Lapish, brothers, John Munday and Randy Munday, and sister Vicki Munday.
